J.B or Joseph Firestone was a minister of the Church of the Breethren
b ll-25-1878 died 9-9-1955. He held pastorates at Roanoke and Rosepine LA
and Nocona TX. He was son of Nathan and Mary Rothrock Firestone.. born at
Centropolis Kansas. married Oma Robinson in 1902 children three sons and
five daughters.. names unknown He served at Rosepine for 24 years.. and held
a variety of church and district positions...district moderator 8 terms and
Standing Committee 9 times.
