Here some that may be helpful. Don't be afraid to use the translation
programs such as altavista.com's Babelfish translation.

Wirmingen is the german name of Virming, located in Lorraine, Dept. Moselle.
For a map, see expedia.com or mapquest.com

http://www.ipa.net/~ksmith/ is a personal webpage of a Klein family.
Note this website says that the LDS Church classifies alot of SW border
villages as located in Bavaria, although presently, these villages are
located in Rheinland-Pfalz or Rhineland-Palatinate.

Also, if you go to search engine google.com, click on the grey translate
page next to the title of the website, and it will automatically translate
the page for you. If there are scrolling parts to the website, these may not
translate.

http://www.virming.fr/index1.html this is in French. It tells about the
village of Virming nestled in wooded hilled valley. It was devasted in the
Thirty Year War and lands were owned by the Duke of Lorraine. They added a
new pipe organ replacing the old one in 1988. On it, there is a carved
wooden wolf--a nod to the village's nickname,"Wirmingenwolf" ,the Wolves of
Virming. It is attributed to the vilage because of the silence [somewhat
isolated] and lonliness of their location in the country.

There are other websites, but concern particular families.

Good Luck!
