Anne - the 2 LDS films referred to are church related. 1235260 contains Sealings for the Dead 1970-83, 178023 contains Endowments for the Dead, baptism and heir index submissions up to 1970. These will be page after page after page, one event [B, M, D] each that has been submitted to the Church for processing. Sometimes finding the one you need requires an image by image search, as they are not in any order. Other times, they are indeed in an order and yours can be found using the page number given in the IGI sources. You won't get any information on the submitter's sources nor will you get any historic or personal information unless you want details on when the card was submitted and where. The submitter's name will be found, but no line of relation will be given. I've ordered perhaps 6 Patron Submission films and only came away with the name of the submitter, a location and a date, I already knew the rest. I've tried to locate the submitter but so far, no luck, they were!
so long ago. Stewarton Parish registers are completely contained in 3 separate filmings. 1041470, or 102864 and 65, or 1067759 item 4. If you are ordering one of these films, let me know which it is, and I'll order another of them, between us there should be enough information to find your David WYLIE. A Moreshead search comes up blank for me, don't know where it is. Even GENUKI doesn't help. Reply personally about ordering any films. Meg
