Hi Alastair, List, I am just researching my relative James William Martin
who was md to Mary Harper Young. They lived on Mr Christie's Land,
Crosshouse, Kilmaurs. I notice on the birth certificates
that there are quite a few coalminers living at Crosshouse. Would this be a
coalminers row of housing?
I checked the certificates for Douglas, but if you have another surname you
want me to keep an eye out for in this area, would be glad to do so. Names
on the certificates I just bought are for births Kilmaurs....

1901 Census at Crosshouse, Mr Christies Land

Families living on same street. Alexander Struthers, William Notman, James
Haggarty, James Martin, Robert Young.
