Hi Alison,

Margaret WOODBURN married John LIVINGSTON on 10th OCT 1835 at Loudoun.

The following issue are in the online IGI, all have been added to the
IGI by LDS members who are also researching this family.

Agnes Livingston Birth: 1835 Of, Loudoun
Robert Livingston Birth: 1838 Of, Loudoun
Margaret Livingston Birth: 1841 Of, Loudoun

You may want to ask Ann Geddes, the East Ayrshire local historian
librarian for a lookup. Email address for Ann in the Ayrshire GenWebPage
below.

The following is from the 1851 census index, you will need to check the
full census record as ask Ann above for a copy or hire a researcher:

Loudoun ED: 8-37

John LIVINGSTON 41y
Agnes 15y
Robert 12y
Margaret 9y
Robert LIVINGSTONE 64y
Isabella 61y
James 38y

It would look like this Robert is father to John but you cant confirm
this till you see the full census record. If John is listed as a widower
it means Margaret was deceased before June that year, when the census
was taken.

Have you searched for the family in the 1841 census?
