Hello Ayrshire,

I've been away for a while and recently found, amongst my archives, a photo
of 'four generations' Templeton-Brown-Reid including twins. Unfortunately
it is undated and I am not sure whether these are 'my' Templetons but
someone must have sent my parents the photo in the belief that they were.
If anyone does claim them I'll gladly scan and send the photo. It shows:

Mrs Templeton of Henryston, Sorn aged 81, 'so strong and active that she
not only attends to household duties but assists in milking the cows both
morning and night'.
Mrs George Brown, her daughter, Laurieston, Hollybush, by Ayr.
Mrs Robert Reid of the same address, grand-daughter of Mrs Templeton, with
her twin daughters. The little girls appear to be about 2 years of age.
