Hi

I am new to the Ayrshire list and would like to post my interests.

I have parents Mary LOUDON (or HUNTER) and John STARK who both died within
months of each other and the children were taken to the Poorhouse. They were:

William, born 1874, Glasgow
Janet, born 1875, Glasgow
David, born 1877, Glasgow
Isabella, born 1880, Glasgow
Mary, born 1883, Glasgow.

The children were split up with William, Janet, David and Mary going to live
with a Mrs Robb in Stevenston. I have them on the 1891 census:

Address: New Street, Stevenston, living with Mrs Robb. There is no sign of
Janet.

And on the 1901:

David is still living with Mrs Robb at Park Place in Stevenston.
William is married to Annie and have a daughter Theresa. The address is 48
Quay Road, Stevenston.
Mary died in 1901. Still no sign of Janet.

If anyone connects with this family, I would be delighted to hear from you
and share more information.
