"Therefor the meeting do ellect and Choose the sd Mr Wallace to be
Schoolmaster in the Parish of Fenwick, and declare that he has Right to the
whole Salary meal and money as formerly enjoyed by Mr Muir and all other
Emoluments annexed to the said office and that for Cropt and year Jaoioy?
And Sixty and thereafter during his care and that the Collection of the Sess
for the different parts of the Parish do gather in the forty merks of money
due to him as part of the above Salary conform to a former determination of
the Heritors and they also agree that the wages be punctually paid by all
Parents for their Children

This in Refence and by appointment of the Heritors

Fenwick March 2d 1760

Session having mett and Constitute the modr represented that as to the
affair refered to the Presby by this Session November last. They had
definissed John Brown from the Process against him unless Providence give
further light in the afair and that on account of Eliz Blackwoods
prevarications and for want of evidence to prove the guilt on him and they
ordained this from the Pulpit which was done. The modr further aprehended
that the Presby had ordered Eliz Blackwood to attent their next meeting But
she was not at there tho Summoned apud acta"
