"Fenwick March 5th 1840

The united assoceate Session and was Constituted by the Rev William Orr
Moderator Alexd Watt engaged Devotional Excercies with praise and prayer
were present along with them John & Thomas Taylor David Dunlop John & Alexd
Gemmill James Young John Clachan James Boyd and Jas Dunlop Alexd Watt
Reported that he had not yet found the opportunity to Converse with Alen
Foulds the Session Reappointed him to Converse with Alen before the
Sacrament Robert Woodburns Case Remains the Same as far as known to the
Session and the Committee is Reappointed Entred on the Consideration of Alen
Galts Case and after Some Discussion the Session appointed John & David
Dunlop & John Gemmill along with the moderator a Committee to Converse with
him on his aparent State of mind which Seems from the report of the
Committee not to be in a proper State of Feeling the Session appointed David
Dunlop to warn him to meet the above Committee in a Sessional capacity next
week in the Session house when it shall be found most Conveient for the
parties and if he acknowledge that he is Sorrey for what he did to David
Black and if they are Satisfied with his aparent State of mind to admonish
him for his fault John Young was expected to appear before the Session this
night but has not appeared the Session then Suspended him from Seating
ordenances when his Case will be taken up after the Sacrement Andrew Pecken
to give him notice of this Deed of Session Revewed the Comunon Roll in the
vew of eating the Lords Supper on the 3d Sabbath of March
