"Fenwick July 5th 1838

The united assoceiate Session met and was Constituted by the Rev William Orr
Moderator with praise and prayer were present along with him John Taylor
John & David Dunlop Alexd Watt Robert Lindsay John Gemmill William & James
Young James Boyd and Andrew Pecken Received a verbal petition through John
Taylor from Jean Craig requesting to be taken under Church Discipline the
Session Received the petition Delayed the Consideration of this Case and
appointed John Taylor Robert Lindsay and Alexd Gemmill along with the
Moderator a Committee to Converse with her and Report to the Session Granted
Certificates to William Gilmore and his wife John Howetson and his wife
James Fowlds and his wife and Mary Shields

Closed with prayer"
