Beginning with this entry, an important data source is now added. When
groups of young people are admitted to the Congregation, they are all named!
I think the James Dunlop mrentioned may be mine, he would have been 26 years
old at the time.

"Fenwick Decbr 7th 1837

The united assoceite Session met in the meetting house and was Constituted
by the Rev William Moder when the following Members were present John &
Thomas Taylor John & David Dunlop Alexd Watt Robert Lindsay John & Alexd
Gemmill William & James Young John Clachan James Dunlop James Boyd and
Andrew Pecken Destrebuted tokens to the Members of the Congregation in the
usall way and the following young persons to the number of 12 were publickly
admited to the fellowship of the Church Ann Wallace James Young Barbra Young
Mary M'Millian Andrew Thomson James Alstone Robert Taylor James Dunlop James
Walker David Walker William Taylor and Marion Watt The Session athorised the
Moderator to grant Certificates to Jean Stevens and Fullarton Brown when
Called for
