"Fenwick July 26th 1837

The united assoceaite Session met and was Constiuted by the Rev William Orr
moderator with praise and prayer were present along with him John & Thomas
Taylor Alexd Watt Robert Lindsay John Gemmil James Young Wm Young James Boyd
and Andrew Pecken Compeared John Wallace when the Session proceded to give
judgement on his Case the vote being taken it Carried that he Shall be
Rebucked in publick before the Congregation on Sabbath first in the
afternoon for using unlawfull means to obtain the property of Another The
moderator put a few question to John on the nature of Sin with which the
Session was Satisfied and appointed William Young James Young and Robert
Lindsay along with the moderator a Committee to Converse with him and Report
to the Session agreed that the lords Supper be observed in this Congregation
on the Second Sabbath of September as the quarterly Sacrament Granted a
Certificate to Robert Young Righill
