Dear Wayne,
Just saw your posting on the Ayr Maillist and I have a link.
I have that the son of John HANNAH (b.Abt.1757, d.1827) and Elizabeth
DICK (b.Abt.1765, d.1853), namely, John HANNAH (b.1795, d.1838) married
Mary THOM in 1829 Dalrymple. Mary THOM was b.1799, Dalrymple and the
daughter of Archibald THOM and Margaret McCANDLISH.
My connection is through Margaret McCANDLISH's sister, Janet McCANDLISH
who married a James HART in 1794, Ayr - the HART line being linked back
into the WALLACE family from Dalrymple, which is where I come in. So
'very distantly' related.
Would be happy to assist anyway I can.
