"Fenwick March 10th 1837

The united assoceate Session met in the Session house and was Constiuted by
the Rev William Orr moderator were present along with him John & Thomas
Taylor John & David Dunlop Alexd Watt Robert Lindsay John Gemmil and James
Young the Session proceded to Revew the Communion Roll in the vew of eating
the lords Supper on Sabbath the 19 day of this month and Suspended John
Wallace in Fenwick for Some improprieties in his Conduct Concerning his
worldly business and appointed Robert Lindsay to intimate this to him an
unfavourable Report haveing gone abroad Respecting Some aledged
improprieties in Margret Beckets Conduct appointed James Young & Thomas
Taylor a Committee to make enquirey into this case and if they see Cause to
Request her to Suspend herself on this occation and Report to the Session
The Edict of the Breathren Elected to the office of the Eldership being
Returned and no objections being given in to the Session the Session
appointed the ordenation of the Breathren Elected to take place on Sabbath
first the 12 day of this month The Session agreed to hear the Report of
Elders from there Respective quarters Concerning any objections against
Sitting down all at once to eat the lords Supper and no very strong
objections being given in the Session agreed that the Communicants Sit down
all at once to eat the lords Supper on the first occation and and to have a
Sermon on Friday first at 6 o clock afternoon in the vew of eating the lords
Supper on the following Sabbath the moderator Stated that Janet Blair had
aplyed to him to be taken under Church Disipline haveing brought forth a
Child to Benjamin Auld in the month of August last and produced a Decret
against him by law - that he is the father of her Child Delayed the
Consideration of this case untill next monthly meetting of Session the
Session agreed that the Clerk be athorised to Summon Thomas Shedden and his
wife to atend next monthly meetting of Session
