In my `never ending search for the early Hannay families in D&G and Ayrshire, here is `one family `of interest:

John HANNAY b 1757, died 1827 in Maybole, married Elizabeth DICK abt 1785 possibly in Aryshire. There are 4 children recorded:
- John Hannay b 1795 in Ayrshire married Mary THOM.
- Margaret Hannay b 1800 Maybole Ayrshire died 1818
- Robert Hannay b 1804 Maybole Ayrshire and died May 1812
- May Hannay b 1804 and died May 1812
( possibly more children )

Any further information on this family would be appreciated.
