Once again, The Rev Smyton (or his clerk) and I did battle here, but I think
I wrestled most of the words out of him. :)

Killmars July 25 1750

The Session being meat & Constute by prayer by our David Smyton moderature
were present of Elders John Howe John Wallace James Brown William Anderson
James Harper John Willson James Howe Thomas Gemmel James Howe James Willson
Samuel Harper & Chused ane Elder to go to the Sinod with Mr Smyton to meat
at Endbro the first Teusday of Agust which fell upon Thomas Wright by vote

& Closed by Prayer

The Session being meat after prayer Sedura(nt) Mr Smyton moderature were
present of Elders Thomas Currie Gavin Lindsay Thomas Wright John Willson
James Willson William Anderson James Brown & Entering upon the affair of
James Young having appeared before Session & likewise before the
Congregation two severall Sabbath days & having been Delle with by the moder
& some of the Elders that were nereast to him & the moderature exmiening &
admonishing the Said James Young exorting him to Repeannace & he giving
satisfaction to the Session it came unto a vot absolve or not & it Carride
absolve & according he apointed to apear before the Congregation the nxt
Lord day to be absolved

& Closed with prayer

New church of Killmars Mar 28 1750

were present of Elders Gavin Lindsay James Brown William Anderson James
Foulton James Howe John Willson Thomas Currie James Harper Samuel Harper &
Entering upon the afair of (Chunemy/Clemency?) ane Elder to waitt upon the
presbutrie with the Reveren David Smyton & a Lote being made & the Role
being Called & vots marked it fell upon William Anderson to waite upon the
presbutrie

& Closed with prayer
