"Fenwick Jany 10th 1837

The united assoceate Session of Fenwick met in the Session house and was
Constituted by the Rev Wm Orr moderator with praise and prayer and was
Succeded in the same excersies by David Dunlop were present along with them
John Taylor Alexr Watt Robert Lindsay John Gemmil and James Young the
Committee appointed to Converse with Agness Gemmil in moor reported
favourably of her knowledge and apparent State of mind. The Session took
into there Serious Consideration the propriety of haveing a Day of
humiliation and thanksgiving to God on a account of the unpropitious Season
and our Sins as a Congregation and individuals and have fixed Tuesday the 24
day of this month to be keept as above mentioned and that an extra
Collection be made on that day in aid of the poor in this Congr the Session
have agreed that an Election of Elders is to take place on the Same day
after publick worship granted Certificates to William Taylor and his wife
and Mrs Neilston
