Hello fellow listers,
it's been some time since I last wrote (although I've been on the sidelines)

My query is this:- would gardeners or landscape gardeners be indentured late
1890 to early 1900. If so where would one enquire so as to receive a copy of
any papers concerning an apprenticeship. The person I'm interested in
William Ritchie was born and lived in Symington, I have him in the 91
census. Have recently found that after serving in WW1 he emigrated to
Australia 1919. I would now like to fill the gap for those twenty years.
