I am looking for descendents of JAMES MARTIN and AGNES COULTER.
They were married in Ireland in 1829 and later moved to Scotland, I believe to the Ayeshire district.
Agnes was actually born in Colmonnell in 1805, then apparently went to Ireland. Their first child, Edminston, was born in Ireland in 1830, then they moved to Colmonell and had six more children between 1832 and 1844. They were Joseph (my ancestor), Margaret, Martha, James, Hellen and John.
In the 1881 census, there is an Agnes, aged 76, living in Main St., Ballantrae, with her granddaughter. I don't know if it's the same one or not.
