"Fenwick Decbr 8th 1836

The united assoceate Session of Fenwick met in the Session house and was
Constituted by the Rev William Orr moderator with praise and prayer and was
Succeded in the Same exceries by John Dunlop were present along with them
John & Thomas Taylor David Dunlop Alexd Watt Robert Lindsay John Gemmil and
James Young heard the report of the Committee appointed to converse with
Agnes Gemmil they stated that they had not met with her for reasons which
they Stated and was Sustained by the Session and the Committee was
reapointed Read the Communicant Roll Read the minutes of last half year
agreed to admit 12 young persons to the membership of the Church the
Moderator read to Session poor Congregations in Conection with the united
assoceate Synod wishing aid from us agreed to lay the case before the
Committee of missions for there Consideration agreed that Thursday the 15 of
this month be observed in this Congregation as a day of humiliation in vew
of eating the Lords Supper on the following Sabbath Elected David Dunlop
presbyery Elder for the ensuing half year the Session haveing to Regret the
fewness of there number from Death infirmities and other causes took into
there serious Consideration that there ought to be a new election of Elders
agereed that the moderator make intamation to the Congregation on Sabbath
first that an Election of Elders is in Contemplation
