"Fenwick Nov 6th 1836

The united assoceate Session of Fenwick met and was Constiuited by the Rve
William Orr Moderator were present along with him William Gemmil John &
Thomas Taylor John & David Dunlop Alexr Watt Robert Lindsay and John Gemmil
the Moderator Reported that James Taylor had Called on him and Expressed his
willingness to Submit to Church Disipline the Session aggreed that James and
his wife appear before the Congregation on Sabbath first and be Rebuked for
the Sin of antinuptional fornacation of which they have acknowledged
themselfs guilty and appointed John Dunlop Robert Lindsay and John Gemmil
along with the moderator a Committee to Converse with them Likewise agreed
that Agness Gemmil in Moor appear before the Congregation on the Same Day to
be Rebuked for the Sin of fornacation ???? acknowledged herself guilty
appointed ???along with the moderator a Committee to Converse with her
