Have been watching your exchange re Barr in Kilwinning. As you know I have
Barrs in Kilwinning, Dalry and Ardrossan but also have some information
regarding your Agnes Littlejohn and John Barr sent to me by someone else.
You have Steven born 1819 in Kilwinning but I have been given Steven born 20
May 1819 Doune. Margaret Barr b. 1809 married Edward Shirky born 1805 in
Kilmarnock and George Colville Barr b. 6 Aug 1824 Kilwinning died Bankhead
Dreghorn 28 Feb. 1879. He married Mary Duff daughter of George Duff and Mary
McKaill or Mecallie on 16 June 1843 in Kilwinning. Does this match your
information and do you have John Barr m. to Agnes Littlejohn as the son of
John Barr and Jean Dick b. 5/7/1781?
