Re: There is an Easter (sic) (shown as Ester in the IGI) Laughland buried in
Loudoun kirkyard she was married to James Houston. The dates are illegible
but they died in the 1800's.

James HOUSTON b Ireland 1815 and Esther McLAUGHLAN ( McGlaughlin/ McLachlan
etc ) b Ayr 1822 had at least seven children all born at Loudoun - Margaret
1847, Robert 1859, William 1861, Isabella 1863, John 1866, David 1868 and
Hugh Gemmell 1871.
