Hello Peter:

Just saw your posting for some Census help and I wondered if you ever had any family members living in Stevenston? I see a family there in the 1881 Census - William Brannigan age 50 and his wife Elizabeth also 50. He was a Dock Labourer and with him and his wife and children were living Annie Kerr and her 4 children because her husband was away at sea. I was thinking these Brannigans must be related to her somehow. And since I didn't think Brannigan was as common a name as Kerr, I would write and ask you.
