i don't know who his parents were. david and jane had the following children:
david j. barbour jr, b. 1842, immigrated with his parents, d. 1871; jane
barbour, b. 1844, immigrated with her parents, m. robert gaston; mary barbour,
b. 1846, immigrated with her parents, m. adam linton; jessie barbour, 1852,
immigrated with her parents, m. mr. scott; john barbour, b. 1838 in scotland;
mary ritchie barbour, b. 1841 in scotland; and elizabeth barbour, b. 1857
but not on the 1860 lasalle county census. any ideas?
