March 27, 1716, Ibidem (Hartbush), were baptised, William SWAN and Helen
FRIZEL in Kirkmaho their daughter Janet, aged 8 months; William WELLS and
Margaret WELLS in Tinwald their daughter Janet, born November 25, 1715;
Thomas EDGAR and Jean WILSON their daughter Sarah, born July 5, 1715;
William M'VITTIE and Jean BROWN in Jonston their son Wiliam, aged 3 months.

Ibid., April 16, 1716, were baptised Edward HASTIE and Janet THORBURN in
Johnston parish their daughter Janet, November 1715.

At the said place, April 2, 1716, were married, Robert BLACK, elder, and
Jean WELLS.

At Barnmoor in Closeburn, February 17, 1717, were baptised, James SUMMER and
Jean M'CHINE in Closeburn their son James, aged.....; Robert BROWN in Keir
his son Peter, born September 21, 1716; Alexander NIVESON and Agnes MILLIGEN
in Closeburn their son John, Septermber 19, 1716; James COWAN and Mary
WATSON in Kirkmaho, their daughter Grizel, born June 11, 1716.

The names of several children baptised about this time at Hartbush and
Wolistone are insert already by Mr. Hugh CLARK, so it is superfluous to set
them down again.

At Walistone, March 17, 1718 (Munday), were married, William WELLS and
Grizel ROBISON in Eglefechan.
Ibid., next day, Jo: HOPE and Janet ARMSTRONG in parish of Middleby; Reinald
GIBSON and Margaret RODLICK; the last pair married on Wednesday after.

At Hartbush. March 24, 1718, were married Andrew CARUTHERS in parish of
Drysdale and Nicolas MAXWELL in St. Mungo parish.

March 26, William SPENCE and Margaret EDGAR, both in Tinwald.

At Hartbush, June 5, 1720, wer baptised, Robert WALKER and Agnes ATCHISON in
parish of Hoddam their daughter Margaret, born August 7, 1719; James KNOX
and Jean BYERS in parish of Cummertrees their daughter Jean, born November
30, 1719; Jo: HOPE and Janet ARMSTRONG in parish of Middleby their daughter
Margaret, born May 20, 1720; Jo: BELL and Rachel JOHNSTON in St. Mungo
parish their son Andrew, born November 1719; William RICHARDSON in parish of
Lyne his daughter Christian, born January 12, 1720; Adam JOHNSTON and Jean
PATERSON in Kirkpatrick Juxta their daughter Jean, aged 5 weeks; Adam DIXON,
and Jean HILL in parish of Tweedsmoor their son James, aged 5 months; Robert
M'VITTIE and Janet ESKDALE in Garrel parish their son James, aged 7 months;
Andrew WELLS and Isobel TOD in Killpatrick Juxta their son Josias, 3
quarters.

at Hartbush, June 6, 1720, were married, William RODICK and Katherine BELL
both in parish of Cummertrees; Christopher PATY and Janet GILLESPIE in
parish of Closeburn; William LAIDLAY and Janet HARTBUSH in parish of
Moffat; John JARDEN and Janet GRHAME in parish of Aplegirth.

Ibidem, next day, married Jo: KILPATRICK and Mary WATSON.

On the same day was baptised at Netherhouses of Auchencairn, William SWAN
and Helen FRIZEL in parish of Kirkmaho, born May 29, 1720.
