I'm not sure if I can connect with your Wilsons, but I too have had trouble
finding any dates for my Wilsons.
I have traced back to JAMES WILSON, a shoemaker who lived in Maybole and
died in Prestwick in 1859. He married RUTH KERR b.1795 in Kilmarnock,
d.1879 Prestwick.
Although they were married in 1813, I was unable to find any children born
to them till 1824.I have since found their first child JAMES WILSON was
born in 1814. He migrated to Sydney in1841, stayed for a few years then
crossed the Tasman to New Zealand in1859 as a widow with two daughters .
Wilson children:-
Mark Nugent Kerr 1824, Annie 1824, David 1826,Elizabeth 1828,Helen
1831,Agnes 1833, Thomas 1836. Agnes and Thomas also went to N.Z.
Hoping to find a contact if not an answer to the missing dates in the O.P.R.
