Hi

In the MIs for the Old Graveyard, Girvan I found the Rev Peter McMaster - "for 36 years
the faithful and beloved pastor of the Parish of Girvan - died 5 Jan 1847 in the 72nd
year of his age and the 44th of his ministry". (Didn't see any McCartneys). Hope
this helps.
