Seeking info. on James Wilson McMillan, b. May 6, 1850, possibly in Ayrshire.
He left for the US in 1867 or 1867 going first to Philadelphia, then settling
in Georgia and established the McMillan Brick Works. He traveled back to
Scotland a year after he arrived in the US to witness his sister's wedding.
He made several other trips back to Scotland during his life and brought
back a stone from Haddingtonshire to serve as a cornerstone of the new
Presbyterian Church he was helping construct in his adopted hometown of
Milledgeville, GA.

James Wilson McMillan married Hatton Cornett from TN and had the following
children:
