Iain,

Sheena's original list of churches in Kilmarnock (email 30/5/00) covered
more than Church of Scotland churches - for example Roman Catholic and
Independent (which would be Congregationalists if this were England - is it
the same in Scotland?)

the question is:

What Baptist churches existed in the area? Did they have other names - many
of the names listed don't connect with current denominations. Where is this
information to be found?
