Subject: Have 1861 Marriage Register for Ayrshire

Ayrshire Readers - I have LDS microfilm # 0224181 for the next 6
weeks. That would be April 3 - May 12, 2000. This film contains the
Marriage Register sheets for Ayrshire 1861 marriages. This film has these
cities/towns/villages : Galston, Girvan, Irvine, Kilbirnie, Kilmarnock,
Kilmaurs, Kilwinning, Kirkmichael, Kirkoswald, Largs, Loudoun, Mauchline,
Maybole, Monkton, Muirkirk, New Cumnock, Ochiltree, Old Cumnock, Riccarton,
St Quivox and Newton, Sorn, Stair, Stevenson, Stewarton, Straiton,
Symington, Tarbolton, and West Kilbride.

If you know of a marriage I can look up for you, please feel free to ask
about it. I usually scan the register sheet, and send it as a JPG. Then
you have the Original Register as it was written in the Book in 1861. I
need a NAME, either the bride or groom, and a DATE if possible (to check
for accuracy). Give me all the possible spellings please. You have
encountered these 'alternate spellings' more than I have. Any other
information will help to zero in on the correct one.

I cannot do blanket searches, it would involve searching the entire film,
but I can look at the indexes, each town was indexed individually. I'll
need a bit of leeway on the time, you won't get these back overnight <G>.

Remember, as of May 12, this film turns into a pumpkin...... and is
