Hi Listers,
My name is Rob MAC DOUGALL(??) and I live on the lower left
hand side of Australia.
On the marriage certificate of my Paternal Grandparents (William Mc DOUGALL &
Fanny LANG, m 1892 in Irvine, Scotland) it is stated that William is the son
of Henry Mc DOUGALL & Ann RENNIE.
However when looking up Henry in the 1881 BI census I found the following:

Henry Mc DOUGALL Head 31
b. Moulin, Perth
Ann RENNIE Wife 33
b. Airlie, Forfar

Elizabeth RENNIE (Mc DOUGALL) Step Daughter 13
b. Tealing, Forfar
William RENNIE (Mc DOUGALL) Step Son 9
b. Kinnoull, Perth

Peter Mc DOUGALL Son 5
b. Airlie, Forfar
Jessie Mc DOUGALL Daughter 3
b. Meigle, Perth
Henry Mc DOUGALL Son 1
b. Airlie, Forfar

Question. Who is William RENNIE's Father.

Problem. Ann RENNIE's Surname. Is it her Maiden surname or former husband's
surname.
If anybody out there has any connection or information on this family, I would
very much appreciate hearing from you, before committing myself to spending
the $$$'s needed for official certificates.
