Kate, just out of curiosity, is your Hamilton related to Sir James
Hamilton who in 1606 "planted" a part of County Down, Ulster with his
neighbor Sir Hugh Montgomery? My McMurray family were among the group
who left the Galloway area to settle in one of the counties, Down or
Antrim in which Hamilton owned large areas of land.
