Haven't posted my Ayrshire family in a while. Does anyone have any data on the RENNIEs from Kilmarnock?

1 Edward Rennie b: in Scotland Family legend says that Edward and Christina emigrated to Australia in about 1870-1875. Have been unable to verify this.

He joined the American Navy in 1876 and was received on board the USS Monocacy on July 15, 1876. He joined the navy in Swatow (Shantou) China. He was classified as Jack of the Dust at this time.
