I believe I have a connection to the WYLIE family.
My ancestor Marrion FULTON, b. 1739, seems to be the daughter of Hugh FULTON
and Janet WEYLIE, who married in Stewarton in 1735. (Hugh and Janet also had
a daughter named Margaret b. 1736).
Janet WEYLIE, b. 1702 in Stevenston, was daughter of Hew WEYLIE and Janet
SMITH.
Does this fit in with any others interested in WYLIEs?

Hi listers,
Do any of the Wyllie family researchers have an Agnes Steel b 1882 married
to
a Wyllie, possibly in Glasgow area?
Thanks all,
Dawn

My greatgrandfather was George Allan married to a Bethya Wyllie? last
name in 1857 in Kilmarnock/Riccarton. Could someone with a 1891 census
tell me her maiden name. I believe they lived on Campbell Street; this
part of the street is now the clover leaf.
I would appreciate anyones help familiar with the Allans. My grandmother
was Jessie Dale Allan who married Charles McLachlan (McLaughlan, on the
WW1 Memorial it is Mac) who was a master butcher on John Dickey street
two doors down from John Finney Street.
Thanks
