Dear Sadie,

My Victorian Ordnance Survey map predates your father's birth a bit,
but it does show Giltreehill, slightly less than two miles northeast of
the village of Kirkmichael. Slightly more to the east, but closer to
Kirkmichael, are also Giltree Wood and Giltree.
