Keith,

Thanks for all your postings. I requested Old and New Cumnock and I
read the description of both with interest. It helps in our
understanding of what life must have been for our forbears.

I didn't really expect to find my family names as most of them were
working on the land as labourers I think. However the services and
the connection of mails, carriers, etc to the various towns and
villages is interesting.

I have kept a copy of most of your postings.
