You may be missing the obvious, but if you:
Open the Digest Email, then, importantly, Open the individual e-mail. You
can then use:
File, Copy to folder (which allows you to place the individual e-mail into
any mail folder) Or:
File, Save as (which allows you to save the individual e-mail in any folder,
in any supported format - text, e-mail, etc.)
Then (optionally) use:
File, Delete (which deletes the individual e-mail from the Digest E-mail and
returns you to the Digest E-mail itself)
You can then: File, Save or File, Delete (which will save or delete
respectively the amended Digest e-mail)
These instructions are for the latest version of the most commonly used
E-mail program, MS Outlook, but very similar options are available in all
current E-mail programs. Problems with saving/forwarding/replying to e-mails
within digests are usually down to having not opened the individual e-mail.
Another tip: Use the keyboard shortcuts if they're quicker than the
mouse/menus.

Depends a lot on the facilities on offer from Bonnie's server
(alphalink). Bonnie -- do you have a "clipboard viewer","notepad",
or "wordpad"? If you are using Windows 95 then you should have the
copy and paste facility which Alex mentioned and your copy will
automatically be sent to the "clipboard viewer". From there it can
be pasted into the "notepad" or "wordpad" (I would recommend the
latter) and from there moved to your local mail folder. You may
even be able to paste directly into your mail folder.
