Many thanks for your quick response to my email to Al Hewitt. As you
know I'm still trying to 'pin down' my Margaret.

Do you know whom your Mary STIVEN & her daughter Janet married? If
their husbands were John LOUDON & Alexander CRAWFORD respectively then
we must have a CONNECTION!!

Janet CRAWFORD C 11 Nov 1804 Beith,, d/o Alexander CRAWFORD & Margaret
LOUDON, married Fulton CUNNINGHAM, s/o John CUNNINGHAM & Janet
STEVENSON. Their son John was my gt-gt-gf. I'd be very grateful for
any further information you can pass on.

I'm sending a cc to the Ayrshire List. Iain removed my entries, &
others, because he thought we weren't bothering to reply to queries. I
had thought of the list as similar to the GRD, i.e. a source of
contacts, & thought I shouldn't clutter up the list with my two-way
mail. But I do see the advantage of widening the search. So....
