Hello Al,

Loudon is a fairly new name in my research. My only sure fact is that a
Margaret LOUDON married Alexander CRAWFORD 31 Jan 1804 in Beith, and had
a daughter Janet bp Beith 11 Nov 1804.

I found a Margaret LOUDON d/o David LOUDON & Janet MITCHELL in the IGI
Addendum. Correspondence with Helen Curtis later disproved that. At
Helen's suggestion I tried the GRO data base and found another Margaret
LOUDON b 26 Jul 1783 Glasgow d/o John LOUDON & Mary STEVEN. Later found
this info in the IGI {extracted PRs} but STIVEN. Now I need evidence
that THIS is mine.

I'll keep your letter on file & contact you if I find anything useful.
