Helen G. had asked about the details of the book:
"Pictorial History of Dundonald", compiled by
Robert Kirk, published 1989 at Darvel, Ayrshire, by
Alloway Publishing in conjunction with Dundonald
Burns Club, ISBN #0-907526-39-X, price on my copy
UKL 4.95. 88 pgs.

As for availability, I don't know. Try your largest
booksellers, and failing that, perhaps one of the
Ayrshire local folks could advise if it's still on the
shelf in the local book shops or tourist shops?

Also, Helen, you might want to try to locate via
inter-library loan, a copy of the old history of the
parish, "Dundonald the Parish & its Setting.
A Contribution to Parochial History"
Vols 1 & 2, J. H. Gillespie, John Wylie H.
Gillespie B.D., pub 1939.

Reverend Gillespie was the minister for Dundonald
parish from 1902 into the 1940s.

This history of the parish is truly wonderful!
