Hi there Ian,

I work in Dundonald, but stay just inside Kilmarnock on Dundonald Road. I
can tell you that there is a house called "Pointhouse" at the end of my
road. It is so called because it seems to come to a point between two roads
that converge on one another. Might not be of much use to you though as it
may just be a common name for a house anywhere. Not sure either of the date
of the house, but you never know.
