POINTHOUSE is shown as place of birth of Hugh MILLAR in Dundonald:

George MILLAR m. Margaret LOUDON b about 1800 probably at Riccarton,
married 25 Jun 1824 at Dundonald, Ayrshire.

Known Children:
1. Hugh MILLAR b. 2 Jan 1826 at Pointhouse (- shown on Dundonald Parish
register); d. 1882 Christchurch NZ (migrating in 1879).

2. William MILLAR b. 3 Mar 1828 at Riccarton.
No further children shown on the IGI.

Where or what is "Pointhouse" - is it the name of a house, village or farm
in the Dundonald Parish?

The only "Pointhouse" I have heard of is in the parish of Govan, Glasgow.
