I've been reading this list for a while & finally am "taking the plunge"
and posting details of the families from Ayrshire I am researching. Mostly
they are from Stevenston / Saltcoats or Ardrossan.

McKENZIE
Neil McKINZIE marr Margaret HAMILTON in 1763 in Ayr. Son Daniel (1766) &
daughter Elizabeth (1770).
Their son Daniel McKENZIE b 1766 at Stevenston, married Ann BARBOUR 2 Aug
1800 & had children John (1806) Alexander (1808), Grizel (1809), Margaret
(c1810), Daniel (c1810), Samuel (1811), Ann (c1813).
Their daughter Margaret (c1810) marr Hugh HOWIE in 1734 at Stevenston & had
children Robert, Ann, Hugh & James.
Daniel & Ann's son Samuel married Margaret McBRIDE in 1837 at Stevenston &
had children Ann, Alexander, Samuel & Margaret.

McNEILL
William McNeill (b c1785) marr Margaret FULLARTON c1810 & had daughter
Jessie in 1816 at Ardrossan. Jessie later married William ANDERSON in 1850
but before that had son John McNEILL in 1840. John married Ann McKENZIE &
had children Samuel, William, Margaret, Sarah, John, Ann, Alexander, Daisy
before immigrating to Sydney, Australia.

MILLER
John MILLER & Jean JAMESON had sons William (1754), John (1756) & Robert
(1758).
(Captain) William MILLER b 1754 at Ardrossan, marr Mary GARRET in 1791 &
had children
(Captain) Betsy (1792), Hugh (1793), Mary (1795), Hannah (1796), William
(1797), Margaret (1799), Mary (1801), John (1804), Hannah (1808).

Any information on any of the above families would be MOST appreciated.
