Hi everyone,

Thanks to those who helped me out with the name Caddies etc, I now
find I have other names which I am not sure about spelling therefore
not sure where to look next.

my gggrandmother was either Janet Hall or Janet Haw - both versions
appear on records, looking at names of children born in the area in
later years there are 2 with the middle name Haw. Is anyone
researching this surname and do they have a Janet Haw or Hall
marrying Robert Caddies 3-Oct-1851 St Quivox. This is the only
information I have about her for definate.

Another gggrandmother was Mary Omay or O.May or O'May or O, each of
these spellings appeared when I downloaded entries from Origins.net.
The O being the entry for the marriage, O. for birth of children and
O'May for a death. The marriage was to John Findlay 26-Jun-1840 in
Straiton. I downloaded some entries for OMAY around the time I
thought she was born and came up with a possible entry Mary OMAY born
29-Apr-1817 to Walter OMay and Mary Thomson in Campbeltown, does
anyone have this family in there tree.

Thank you

Sylvia Darker
