I am researching JAMES & MARGARET (nee HIGHET) RITCHIE who were married
in KILMARNOCK on the 12 June 1827 . I am looking for there family . I
have found that they had a daughter called JANET who married ANDREW
TAYLOR on 14 December 1849 & they lived SHAWWOOD SORN . The TAYLOR's had
a family of 8 , there names were Margaret b 1850 , Marion b 1852 ,
Jessie b 1855 , Elizabeth b 1857 , James b 1862 , Andrew b 1864 , Helen
b 1869 , & John b 1871 . Andrew (snr) was born in 1821 at Kilmarnock &
Janet was born in 1829 in Kilmarnock . MARION married JAMES GIBSON &
they lived at Catrine Holm . MARGARET TAYLOR married a CALDWELL how
lived in the area .
Does anybody have any information on the JAMES & MARGARET (nee HIGHET)
RITCHIE's family as I have been unable to find any other sons &
daughters .
