I am researching my maternal side of the family and my great grandfather according to U.S. immigration records emmigrated from Feldkirch, Austria. I noticed that the name Sondregger is on the "Willkommen auf der Genealogie Homepage der Stadt Feldkirch" website.

I am interested in obtaining any information on;

John Sondregger b. 24 December 1853, Feldkirch, Austria immigrated to the United State 15 February 1867

How do I go about obtaining Church records, for example the birth/christening record from the parish. I do not know which parish. Is there a list of emmigrants from Austria?

From my reading I understand that the Church Records are not on film and one should obtain the services of a professional researcher in Austria to obtain those records. Is there a source for Austrian genealogical researchers with expertise in Vorarlberg and Feldkirch?
