Both Schoenfeld and Schoenfelder are not rare.
Probably there are many in Germany also (even many descendants from Czechoslovakia after the expulsion of the German population after 1945 - While many would have preferred to go to Austria at that time, Austria was simply too small to swallow them).

I guess you have to follow the family lines at least until 1945 if you are not very lucky. Start with search for birth and marriage records in Zuckmantl (see IHFF site <http://ihff.nwy.at/index.htm/>; for informative pages and help /including professional help/ ).
