Frauders- seems an unlikely construct, but there are several villages by the name
Frauendorf fairly close in to Vienna. Use
http://www1.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/loctown.htm with the "all towns starting
with this precise spelling" and enter Frau or Freu etc. Unfortunately, "Austria"
was a big place then and people would often say they were from Vienna because of
it's size. He could possibly have been from Bohemia, Slovakia, or possibly that is
the German name for a Hungarian village.
