Genealogy interest in Burgenland, Austria. My father, Franz Weber b.
2Dec1894, Steinbach, Burgenland, came to US on the SS Umbria from Liverpool
via Antwerp in 1903, with his parents: Paulus Weber b 1870
Bubendorf/Catherina Schlogl b 1874 Steinbach #13.

I have found ancestors back to about 1800. All from Middle Burgenland.
Steinbach, Bubendorf, Kaintz's from Gschorholz within eyesight almost of
Steinbach, Burgers, Grossinger, Stifter, Rheinhofer, and a few other names
found from St Aegyd Catholic church Baptismal records at Pilgersdorf the
parish these small middle-Burgenland towns belonged to.
